2 EN Oven Accessories Depending on the model that you have purchased, you are supplied with several accessories that can be used in a variety of ways. 5 EN Setting the T ime Your microwave oven has an inbuilt clock. The time can be displayed in either the 24-hour or 12-hour notation. You must set the clock: • When you first install your microwave oven • After a power failure Do not forget to reset the clock when you switch to and from summer or winter time.
6 EN Cooking / Reheating The following proc edure explains how to co ok or reheat food. ALWAYS check your cooking sett ings before leaving the oven unattended. First, place the food in the centre of the turntable. Then, close the door. Never switch the microwave oven on when it is empty.
7 EN Using the A uto Reheat F eature The Auto Reheat feature has thr ee pre-programmed cooking times. You do not need to set either the cooking times or the power lev el. You can adjust the number of servings by pressing the ( ) and ( ) buttons. First, p lace the food in th e centre of the turntable and close the door.
8 EN Using the A uto P o wer Defrost F eature The Auto Power Defrost feat ure enables you to defrost meat, poultry or fish. The defrost time and po wer level are set automatically. Use only dishes that are microwave-safe. First, place the frozen food in the centre of the turnta ble and close the door.
9 EN Using the P ower Steam Function With the po wer steam feature, the cook ing time is s et automatically. You can adjust the number of servings by pressing the ( ) and ( ) buttons. Use the plastic steam cooker wh en using power steam functi on. First, place the plastic steam cooker in the centre of th e turntable and close the doo r.
10 EN Using the Deodorization F eature Use this feature after cooking odo rou s food or when there is a lot of smoke in the oven interi or. First clean the o ven interior. The deodorization time has been specified as 5 minutes. It increases by 30 seconds whenever the +30s button is pressed.
11 EN Switching the Beeper Of f You can switch the beeper off whenever y ou want. Using the Child Lock F eature Your microwave oven is fitted with a special Child Lock programme, which enables the oven to be “locked” so tha t children or anyone unfamiliar with it cannot operate i t accidentally .
12 EN Cookware Guide To cook food in the microwave oven, the microwaves must be able to penetrate the fo od, without being ref lected or absorbed by the dish used. Care must therefore be taken wh en choosing the co okware. If the cookware is marked microwave-sa fe, you do not need to worry.
