5 .6 < Loading pri nt media> Note s • Do not push th e paper width guide far enough to cause the material to warp. • If you do not adjust the paper wid th guide, it may cause paper jams.

Do not force too much, or the paper will be bent, which will result in a paper jam or skew . 5 When you print a document, set the paper source a nd type in th e software application.
5 .8 < Loading pri nt media> Selecting an output location The printer has two output locations; the rear cover (face up) and the output tray (face down). The printe r sends output to the output tray by default. T o use the o utput tray, make sure that the rear cover is closed.

9 .2 < Troubleshooti ng> 2 Remove the jammed paper by gently pulling it straight o ut. Make sure that all of the paper is properly aligned in the tray 1. If the paper does not move when you pull, or if you do not see the paper in this area, check the fuser a rea around the toner cartridge.
