4 Getting Started C ongra tulations , you ’v e just expanded the use of y our XM Radio! Now , in addition to listening to the channels y ou love in the car , you can listen to XM Music , Spor ts, News , T alk, Comedy & Entertainment in your home, at the offic e, etc .
5 Step 2: Choose y our R adio -specific dock adapter The Xpress dock adapt er is already installed in the Compact Sound System. The Xpress dock adapter can be used with the f ollowing radios: the Audio vox Xpr ess, A udiovo x Xpress EZ , A udiovo x Xpress R , Audio vo x Xpress RC , and Delphi Xpress RC (all radios sold separately).
6 1 T o remov e the Xpress dock adapter , lift both sides of the adapter at the same time. 2 Inser t the dock adapter for your r adio. If your radio is a P ioneer inno™ or a Samsung Helix™, you will also need the XM2go Boombox A dapter Model: XMP A1 (S old separately).

8 Step 3: Insert your r adio T o inser t your XM Radio into the Compact Sound System, alig n the radio ’ s connec tor with the Sound System ’ s connector , then carefully but firmly press t o secure the radio in place. TIP! Although designed to fit snugly , we recommend tha t you remov e the radio befor e moving the Sound System.
9 Step 4: C onnec t the antenna 1 P lace the antenna: • P ositiontheantennaf orbestreception,mostlikelyneara south-facing window .
10 Step 5: C onnec t the pow er 1 P lug the AC pow er adapter into the jack labeled 12V DC on the Sound Sy stem. 2 P lug the other end into any 110 - 120V w all outlet or power sour ce. Getting Started Step 6: T urn it on 1 P ress the power button on the Sound System.
11 Step 7: List en 1 This Sound System was desig ned to work with a wide range of XM rec eivers. Y ou may need to adjust the audio “Line Out Lev el” in the menu options of your r eceiver to achiev e optimal per formance from this sound syst em. Please see your XM r eceiver user guide f or additional information on this adjustment.

13 Placemen t Do not place the Sound System or XM r adio near heat sources or in dir ec t sunlight. Do not place the Sound System on an inclined or unstable surface, in areas of exc essive dust, or areas pr one to mechanical shock. D o not block the speakers or ventilation ports.
14 My XM radio is not receiving a signal . Use the “ antenna aiming” f eature on the XM ra- dio and move the ant enna to another location. My XM radio will not turn on. Check whether the power cor d is plugged into the wall. If applicable, make sure Aut o- ON is enabled.
