XCH10RF 3 Prepar ation (continued) Tra nspo rt Lock Screws The mechanism in the CD ch anger is "locked" in to place during shipment by transport screws. Be sure to remove the screws prior to installation. Retain these screws for future use when transporting the unit for service/maintenance .

XCH10RF 6 Metal Surface a. S tick t he supplied double-sided tape to t he bottom of the mounting bases (B) and peel off the paper backing. b. Drill holes for the self- tapping screws (T5x12). c. Install self-t apping screws to secure the mounting base to the metal.

Attach a bracket (A) bracket to each side of the unit using the machine screws (M4x5). 3. Attach the brackets (A) to the mounting base (B) using the hexagonal bolts (M6 x 12) and M6 flat and split washers.

XCH10RF 13 Wiring the FM Modulator The FM modulator should be positioned near your existing car stereo with the 15-foot data cable connected to it. Make the follow ing connections to the FM modulator : • RED A CC POWER WI R E - At t ached to the FM modulator is a n ACC po w er wire (red).

XCH10RF 18 TRACK/DISC SHUFFLE When the RANDOM button is pressed, “RA NDOM ONE” appear s on the LCD panel and the tracks on the disc are played in a random, shuffl ed order . The Track Skip function also select s tracks in the shuffled order instead of the nor mal progression.
