- 9 - 1) Choose an appropriate mounting location underneath a c abinet or shelf. Close proximity to an electrical outlet, a TV ant enna or cable connection and a telephone jack will facilit ate a neat, easy installation. D o not mount the VE700 above a range or oven.

- 13 - 1) T urn the Rem ote Control face down. Place a fingernail, or coin in the open slot, slide battery holder out. 2) Install the CR2025 battery into it s proper slot.
- 14 - 1. POWER ON/OFF (PWR) Press this button to turn the TV on. Press the button again to turn the TV of f. 2. ENTER AUTO PROGRAM. Press this button for half second to save all the stations on memory . (TV Channel) 3. CHANNEL UP/DOWN Use these buttons to advance to the next higher or lower channel.
- 15 - Press this button to remove all sound (Indicators blinks on display window ). 9. SEEK BUTTONS (SEEK) Use these buttons to advance to t he next higher or lower station. 10. FM/AM Each time this button is pressed, the VE700 will alternate between AM and FM.
- 16 - Initial Setup : This unit de faults to cable TV mode. When the u nit is first pow ered on, it w ill detect the cable s y st em and auto-pro gram the TV tu ner to the a v aila ble stations. Please wait while the unit auto -programs before atte mpting to operate the unit.
- 17 - SETTING and ACTIV A TING ALA RM NOTE: The VE700 must be turned “OFF” wh en performing the follow ing procedure. 1) Press the SET button (1) twice to and VE700 is in alarm mode indicated by six flashing LED’s. A preset time will be displayed with the minutes portion blinking.
- 18 - SETTING THE AIR TV MODE 1) Press the SET button three times to enter the cable configuration mode 2) Press the SEEK button to select the AIR mode AIR appears on the display (switched from broadcast TV (VHF or UHF) to cable TV). 3) When the desired mode is reached, press t he PWR button or T/F button to confirm.
