4 .8 < Selecting a nd loadin g print media> Printing on labels • Only use labels recomme nded for your machine. • V erify that the labe ls’ adhesive material can tolerate a fusing temperature of 180 °C ( 356 °F) for 0.1 seconds. • Make sure that there is no exposed adhesive material between the labels.
4 .9 < Selecting a nd loadin g print media> Printing on preprinted p aper • Preprinted paper is paper that has so me type of printing on it before it is sent through the machine (paper that has a preprinted logo at the top of the page, for example).

Caution • Do not touch the green surface on the imagin g unit with your hands or any other materi al. Use the handle on it in order to avoid touching this area .

Insert it back into its slot unt il it clicks into place, and rotate the toner cartridge clockwise. Note If toner gets on your clothing, wipe it off with a dry cloth and wash it in cold water .
6 .5 < Maintenanc e> 6 Remove the cartridge cap . Note If toner gets on your clothing, wipe it off with a dry cloth and wash it in cold water . Hot water sets toner into fabric. 7 Grasp the toner cartridge and ali gn it with the corresponding slot inside the machine.
6 .6 < Maintenanc e> 4 Pull the imagi ng unit out of the machine using th e handle on its bottom. 5 Extend the top handle on th e imaging unit and then use it to pull the imaging unit out of the machine completely . 6 T ake a new imaging unit ou t of its p ackage.
6 .7 < Maintenanc e> Caution If the front cover is not completely closed, the machine will not operate. Please make sure all toner cartri dges are installed properly . If any toner cartridge is installed improperly , the front cover do not close.

7 .2 < Troubleshooti ng> 3 Carefully remove the paper by pulling in the direction as shown below . Most of the jammed paper can be removed in this step. If you cannot find the jammed paper , or if there is any resistance removing the paper , stop pulling and go to the ne xt step.

Common PostScript problems The following situations are PS la nguage specific and may occur wh en several printer languages are being used.
