5 Before Using Y our Coffeemaker CAUTION: UNPLUG FROM OUTLET . MAKE SURE POWER SWITCH IS IN THE OFF POSITION. Become familiar with parts of the unit. Clean the carafe, carafe lid and the removable filter basket. Fill the coffeemaker with the maximum amount of water and f ollow pro- cedures for “BREWING” (without coffee).
