5 Before Using Y our Coffeemaker CAUTION: UNPLUG FROM OUTLET. MAKE SURE POWER BUTTON IS IN OFF POSITION. Become familiar with parts of the unit. Clean the carafe and lid, removable filter basket. Fill the cof- feemaker with the maximum amount of water and turn the unit on.
6 6. Make sure that the carafe with lid is properly seated on the warming plate. Press the power button in to turn power ON. The indicator light will turn on. 7. If you wish to serve a cup of coffee before brew cycle is com - plete, simply remove carafe from warming plate.
