OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS -1- 1 ON/OFF POWER BUTTON Press this button to turn the unit on or off. 2 VOLUME / LEVEL CONTROL T o increase the volume level, press the “VOL + ” button. The volume will increase and the level will be shown on the display panel from a minimum of “VOL.
-2- 7 FRONT/REAR F ADER CONTROL T o adjust the front-rear speaker balance, first select the Fader mode by pressing the Select button 3 so that the “F AD.” indi- cation appears on the display panel. Within 5 seconds of choos- ing the Fader mode, press the + or - button of the Level Control 2 to adjust the front-rear speaker balance as desired.

-6- cq FRONT P ANEL RELEASE BUTTON This knob is used to release the mechanism that holds the front panel to the chassis. T o detach the front panel, press the button so that the left side of the panel is released. Grasp the released side and pull it off of the chassis.
SETTING THE CLOCK 1. T urn the vehicle ignition and radio “on”. 2. Press and hold the T ime/Frequency Selector button cn approximately 2 seconds until the time display begins flashing on the display panel.
cs & ct DISC SELECT (+ -) These buttons are used to select the desired disc for play . T o advance to a higher number disc, press the + button cs .T o return to a lower number disc, press the - button ct . The num- ber of the disc in play will be shown on the display panel.
-9- dm TRACK/DISC SHUFFLE (SHF) When the Shuffle button is pressed, the SHF indication will ap- pear on the display panel and the tracks on the disc will be played in a random, shuffled order . The T rack Select buttons cu will also select tracks in the shuffled order instead of the normal pro- gression.
Indicates that there is no magazine loaded in the CD changer . Indicates abnormal disc changer function. Press the Re- Set button cp to try to clear the microprocessor and re- turn to normal operation. Indicates excessive temperature conditions at the CD changer .
