-1- OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1 ON-OFF POWER BUTTON VOLUME LEVEL MEMORY Press this button momentarily to turn the unit on or off. This button is also used to set the memory for the volume level which will be recalled when the unit is turned on.
-2- NOTE: Release the button as soon as the display changes from frequency to time (approximately 2 seconds). Holding the button in for too long will put the unit into time setting mode (flashing time display).
-3- adjust the treble response as desired. The treble level will be shown on the display panel from a minimum of -7 to a maximum of 7 (0 is flat response). The display will automatically return to the normal indication 5 seconds after the last adjustment or when another function is activated.
Pressing either side of the button for longer than 0.5 seconds and then releasing will activate the Automatic Seek Tuning function i n the selected direction. The radio will seek the next available station and stop at that frequency. The Seek function can be stopped by pressing t he bu tt on again or activating any other tuning function.
bs EJECT BUTTON ( ) Tape playback is stopped and the cassette is ejected by pressing this button, which also has the function of switching over to radio operation. NOTE: Never leave a cassette engaged in the player when not in use. Doing so can cause damage to the cassette and/or mechanism of the unit.
-6- SETTING THE CLOCK 1. Turn the radio on so that the radio frequency or clock time is shown on the display panel. 2. Press and hold the Select button 3 approximately 4 seconds until the time display begins flashing.
