2. Introduction Congratulations on y our recent purc hase of the Russound C A6.4 multi-room controller . T his six-zone, four - source, multi-room controller is an affordable integrated amplifier . T he C A6.4 controller is the heart of the system. Six stereo power amplifiers are built into the Russound C A6.
Additional tools required to complete installation: • A keyhole saw . • Electrical junction boxes (6). • A stud finder . • A screwdriv er (cordless recommended) • Misc.
7. Back P anel Connections 7.1 Sour ce Input Connections • Y our source inputs are located at the top left corner of the back panel. Connect each source output, left and right, using quality signal cables / patch cables. Label each cable the name of y our source and the input num- ber of the C A6.
• Remov e the adhesive bac k and locate the IR receiver on the product you wish to control. Stic k the 845 emitter directly over the source components IR windo w . T he C A6.4 will direct the IR command to the source component you wish to control. • Repeat connections until all emitters match the selected sources.
8.2 Installing the LRN Ke ypads • Connect the C A6.4 LRN ’ s Interface cable to the 16 pin header located on the C A6.4 KP Interface. Note the location of the red stripe. • Mount the keypads into double gang box and attach the double gang Decora plate.
12. W arr anty T he Russound C A6.4 is fully guaranteed for T wo (2) years from the date of purc hase against all defects in materi - als and workmanship. During this period Russound will replace any defecti ve parts and correct any defect in workmanship without c harge for either parts or labor .
