3 1. Safety Precautions 3 Failure to comply a ny of the follo wing safety pro cedures could result in serious injury. Please read the instructions carefully and keep for future reference. 1. Only a licensed electrician should install wiring an d outlet for the lamin ator.

2.1 Rol ler s Not Heat ing 1. The wire c onnect or fro m the heat er is disco nnect ed with MAI N PCB.(exce pt RSL-380 ) 2. The Wir e-Temp Fu se is disco nnected. 3. The Ma in Fuse i s defective.( except R SL-380) 4. The Bi -metal is defec tive. 5. The heat er in th e roller is defec tive.
2 The Wire-Tem p Fuse is disc onnected 1) Test if the Wir e-Temp Fu se is disco nnected w ith Mult i-test er. 2) If disc onnect ed, replace it with new o ne. 3. MAIN FUSE is disconnected.( except RSL- 380) 1) Test i f the Main Fus e is di sconnecte d with Mul ti-teste r.
5. The heater in t he roller is defective. 1) Test i f the he ater is di sconnected with Mul ti-teste r. 2) If disc onnect ed, replace it with new o ne. Replace Main PCB with ne w one according to How to replace Main P CB only when a ll of the abo ve mention ed heater wi re, wire ther mal fuse, heater a nd Bi-me tal are norm al.
1) Dis assemble the R ight co ver. (Refer to how t o replac e Cover- R.) 2) Disassemble the Bracket-Sensor with Sensor ass'y . Test if the Senso r ass'y is disconn ected with Mult i-tester. Again, Attach The Bracket- Sensor as the prope r positi on.
1) Dis assemble the R ight an d the Left c over. (R efer to ho w to repla ce Cover .) 2) Disassemble the Bracket-Sensor with Sensor ass'y . Test if the Senso r ass'y is disconn ected with Mult i-tester. 1) Test if the wir e thermal fu se is disco nnect ed with Mult i-test er.
2.3 Rol ler s Not Runni ng 1. Safety cover is not in pro per position. 2. Wire-Motor's connector is di sconnected. 3. Film is jammed on the ro llers. 4. Main PC B is defec tive. 5. Ma in motor is defec tive. Before troubleshooting, be sure to di sassemble the Right cover ,the Left cover an d the Rear cover.
3. Film is jam med on the roller s. 1) Fir st press r everse but ton. 2) Pull jamme d film slowl y to the b ack of the m achine. 3) If you feel film is jam med again , stop pres sing rever se butt on. 4) pres s run button, and then pul l jamm ed fil m to the b ack of the m achine.
2. Main fuse is discon nected.(except RSL-380) 1) Test i f the main fuse is d isconnec ted with Multi-tes ter. 2) If disc onnect ed, replace it wit new one. 3. Wire-AC IN i s not connected with Main PCB.(except RSL-380) 1) Check i f the Wire -AC IN are conn ected corr ectly.
13 2.5 Poor Laminat ion Quali ty Problem: Straig ht wave line s across th e outp ut. Cause: Exces sive fr ont rol ler pr essu re. Measure: Loosen the front roller pressure. Problem: Concav e wave s in th e lamin ation. Cause: Exces sive rea r (pu llin g) rol ler pr essur e.
Turn o ff the switch of the machine and then pull out the pow er cord plug from the electr ical outlet. 3.1. Right Cover 1) Unfasten 4 scre ws holding the Right cover and dis assemble the Right co ver. <RSL-2701/2701U> <RSL-380> 2) Pull out th e male connector f rom the Sub -PCB .
3.2. Left Cover 1) Unfasten 2 nu ts holding the Knob Tension 2) disassemble the Knob -Tension. 3) Unfasten 4 scre ws holding the Left cover and disassem ble the Left cover . 4) How to ass emble is the reverse order of how to disassem ble , 3)→2)→1 ).
3) Disassemble Wire connect to M AIN S/ W, POWER CORD. 4) Disas semble MAIN S/W an d POWER CORD. 5) How to assemble is the reve rse order of how to disassemble , 4)→3)→2)→1) . 3.4. Main PCB 1) Pull out a ll the connectors from th e main PCB . 2) Detach the main P CB from 4 white plastic supporters.
3.5. Sub PCB 1) Refe r to No 1.(Rep lacement of cover- R) 3.6. Heaters 1) Disassemble both the Right cover and th e Lef t cover (Refe r to No.1, No.2) .
4) Disas semble the Bu sh-Roller , Up holding t he upper heater. < Take of f Bush- Roller, Up from L aminating Roller > 5) Disas semble the l ower an d upper heater fr om the rol ler caut iously 6) How to assemble is the reverse order of how to disassemble , 5)→ 4)→3)→2) →1).
3)a. Disassemb le Frame upp er with Cross Cutte r.(RSL -2701/2701U) b. Disassemble Cross Cutter from th e Frame-C utter.(RS L-380) <RSL-380> 4) Disassemble the Cross Cutte r from the Frame -Upp er.(RSL -2701/2701U ) <RSL-2701/2701U> 5)a. 3) unfasten th e set screw (sprocke t motor) 4) take out th e sprocket motor from the motor 5) unfasten th e three screws from the motor 6) detach the connector and change the motor 7) How t o ass emble is the r everse o rder of how to disassemble , 6)→5)→4) →3)→2)→ 1).
21 Adjusting Front and Rear Roller when the machine is running, check that the top and the bottom films ar e fed in without any wrinkles. 19 with differen t thickness of s ubstrates. 5. Check above steps 2 through 4 with 3mil & 5mil films. lines indicate that it has less pressure at that point.
