- 7 - Using the Reporter • The Reporter is a handheld dynamic microphone, designed for use in the fi eld of news gathering and reporting. • The Reporter features an omnidir ectional capsule. For this reason it is not always necessary to move the micr ophone back and forth between the interviewer and the person being interviewed.
- 8 - Micr ophone Flag • A custom microphone fl ag is supplied with the Reporter . The microphone fl ag has been designed so that it can be easily screen printed with your or ganisation’ s logo, or a weatherproof adhesive label can be applied using the specifi cations listed below .
- 9 - Using the Micr ophone Flag • T o install your microphone fl ag, place the mesh head of the Reporter through the ring on the fl ag, with the RØDE logo centred. Push the fl ag down until it ‘clicks’ in place into the groove on the micr ophone head.
- 10 - Optional Accessories RM5 MICROPHONE CLIP • The RM5 stand mount is available to securely mount the Reporter on a microphone stand or boompole, allowing you to place the microphone in the optimal position for hands free r ecording, or giving the user the additional reach r equired to get closer to the sound sour ce.
