SOFTW ARE INST ALLA TION Load the software into your PC Important: Before installing the software, make sure that: ! Disable or un-install any previously installed P DA keyboard software. ! Y ou save all open documents. ! ActiveSync is installed and active on my PC.
HARD W ARE SET UP a. Press the back release latch down and open the k eyboard as shown. b . Lift the docking stand up from the ke yboard. Push the bac k brace out from the docking stand until you hear a clic k. Then la y the docking stand down at the bac k of the ke yboard.
CUST OMIZING T o customize y our keyboard, tap Start then to displa y the K eyboard Settings screen. Enable K eyboard - tap to tur n the k eyboard driver off an on. Ke y Repeat Rate - this adjusts the rate at which a character is repeatedly typed when y ou hold down the k ey .
APPLICA TION KEYS 1 . Press the blue b uttons on the right of the keyboard to enter into the f ollowing f our major applications directly: Inbo x, Contacts, Calendar , T asks. 2. Press the Fn k ey and the blue b utton on the right at the same time to enter into these 3 applications: Notes, W ord, Excel.
2. Select the application you w ant to assign to that Fn ke y . 3. T apping on OK to close the screen will also sav e the settings. T o assign an Fn key to a specific file: 1. T ap on the arrow to the right of the application f or the Fn ke y you want to reassign.
