7 DOUBLE INSULA TION Double insulation is a concept in safety in electric power tools, which eliminates the need for the usual three-wire grounded power cord. All exposed metal parts are isolated from the internal metal motor components with pr otect- ing insulation.

10 OPERA TION DIRECTION OF ROT A TION SELECTOR (FORWARD/REVERSE) See Figure 3. The direction of bit rotation is reversible and is controlled by a selector located above the switch trigger .
11 OPERA TION USING THE AUXILIAR Y HANDLE ASSEMBL Y See Figure 6. Y our drill is equipped with an auxiliary handle assembly . For ease of operation, use the handle with either the left or right hand. The handle can be rotated 360°. T o adjust the auxiliary handle assembly: Loosen the handle assembly by tur ning the handle coun- terclockwise.
12 OPERA TION DRILLING See Figure 8. Depress and release the switch trigger to be sur e the drill is in the OFF position before connecting it to power supply . Check the dir ection of rotatio n selector for corr ect setti ng (forward or r everse).
