10 11 ASSEMBL Y BREAKING IN THE PUMP See Figures 4 - 5. Perform the following steps to break in the pump before using the air compressor for the first time. n Make sure the plug in the oil fill hole has been replaced with the dipstick and the oil level falls within the MIN and MAX range.

14 15 WARNING: If air leaks after the ring has been released, or if the valve is stuck and cannot be actuated by the ring, Do not use the air compressor until the safety valve has been replaced. Use of the air compressor in this condition could r esult in serious personal injury .

NOTE: Though not necessary , you may find it helpful to remove the wheel from the unit to easily access the oil drain.
