2 Select a function from the menu screen that appears in the browser. In the [Remote Capture] screen , the camera’s Live View image and buttons pertaining to shootin g are displayed. t Memo • When the communication device is held in the land scape orientation, only 12, 13, 17, and 18 are displayed.
3 1 Set the capture funct ions on the camera. 2 Connect the memory card to the communication device via wireless LAN. For information on how to establish a connection, ref er to the “User Guide [Setup]”. 3 Start the browser on the communication devic e and display the menu screen.
4 6 Change the shutte r speed, aperture value, exposure compensation value and sensitivity as necessary. Tap the options underlined in blue and select a va lue from the list. Tap M to return the settings to their default va lues. 7 When the camera is in AF mo de, tap the focusing point in the L ive View image.

6 Displays the images saved on the memory ca rd on the communication device. 1 Tap [Image Vie w] in the menu screen. Or, tap B in t he [Remote Capture] screen. The [Image View] screen appears. u Caution • Do not operate the camera or capture imag es with the camera while viewing imag es using the Image View featur e.
7 Tap the thumbnai l to display the image. Tap 1 to return to th e [Image View] screen. u Caution • Only JPEG files saved on th is memory card ca n be displayed as thumbnails. All ot her files are displayed as icons a nd these images cannot be vi ewed using the Image View feat ure.
8 1 In the menu s creen, tap [Settings]. The [Settings] screen appears. Tap 1 to return to the previous screen. The following settings can be made. Tap [Information].
9 Tap [Communication Settings]. SSID, Network Key (security code), and Channel Setti ng can be changed. SSID can be specifie d using 1 to 32 characters , Network Key with 0 or 8 to 63 characters. Characters that can be used are single-byte alphanumeric characters and “_” (undersco re).
10 Tap [Camera Settin gs]. Select the image quality for Live View. Tap [Language]. Select either Japanese or English. Camera Settings Language.
11 A camera incompatible with this memory card does not have functions for tu rning the wireless LAN functi on on or off, or for resetting the commun ication se ttings.
12 7 Turn the camera off and o n again, and then establish a wireless LAN connection again. The control images shown below are created on the memory card. t Memo • After the control images a re created, captur ed images can be saved in the normal way.
13 5 Tap 2 and then [OK]. The setting is changed. 6 Turn the camera off and o n again. This memory card’s wireless LAN function is turned off. If the wireless LAN function is set to off in the [Communication Settings] screen, the se tting cannot be changed on the communication devi ce.
14 t Memo • If the camera is turned off and on again when [Au to Wi-Fi Startup] is s et to [off ], the wireless LAN function i s turned off again. To always keep it set to on, change [Auto Wi-Fi Startup] to [on].
