TRACT OR REQUIREMENTS The tractor used to operate the mower must have the power capacity to lift, pull, and operate the Power T ake Off (P T O) at the mower ’s rated speed while traveling at a ground speed betwee n 2 and 5 MPH.

OPERA TION 2.3 T ractor Horsepower The horsepower re quired to operate the mowe r depends on several operating fa ctors including the ve getation to be cut, terrain condition, oper ator experience, cond ition of the mower and tractor , and others.

Make sure the mower is securely blocked up before crawling beneath. Replace damaged, worn an d missing blades as complete sets to maint a in rotary balance during operation.

T ractor brakes can be se t to operate independently allowing sin gle rear wheel br aking action or locked together to provide simult aneous rear wheel braking.

OPERA TION 9.4 Driving the T ractor and Mower S tart of f driving at a slow speed and gradua lly increase your speed while maintaining com plete control of the tractor and mower . OPERA TION Make cert ain that the “Slow Moving V ehicl e” (SMV) sign is installed in such a way as to be clearly visible and legibl e. Carefully ti ghten the secu ring chains or other fasteners used as much as possible using boomers or binders to apply ma ximum tension.

On ly a minimum of time and effo rt is required to regularly lub r icate and maint ain this machine to pr ovide long life and trouble free oper ation.
