Revolabs Fusion TM Microphone System — Sony XG-80 Setup Guide This setup guide will guid e you through the steps need ed to properly connect a Revolabs Fusion Microphone System to a Sony XG-80 video codec. Note: It is important to carefully follow thes e instructions in order and c ompletely.
Connecting the Cables 1. Connect a Female XLR – 1/8” audio ca ble between the XLR “CONF OUT” port on the Fusion and the “MIC 1” port on the Sony XG-80. 2. Connect a Male RCA-RCA au dio cable between the “CONF IN” port on the Fusion and the L “AUDIO OU T” port on the XG-80.
Configuring the Sony XG-80 Video Codec 1. Push the TOOLS b utton on the remote control 2. Select SETUP 3. Select AUDIO 1 4. Select AUDIO INPUT as MIC 5. Verify that Mic (A1/A3) has a checkmark 6. Turn ECHO CANCELLER to OFF 7. Verify INPUT as MONAURAL 8.
