2 A . Welcome Thank you for choosing the A VD300T DVD Player . The A VD300T is designed to optimize the enjoyment of your favorite DVDs in the mo- bile environment. This DVD Player is constructed to provide years of reliable, trouble-free service. Please read this manual thoroughly prior to operating the player and save it for future reference.
3 SAFETY PRECAUTION For safety reasons do not allow children to unfasten seat-belts to change video media or make any adjustments to the system. Enjoy your enter- tainment system but always remember the safety of all passengers is the number one priority .
4 4. DISC Do not use irregularly shaped discs such as heart or star-shaped discs as they may cause the unit to malfunction. Do not stick pa- per , t ape or glue on the disc. Do not expose the disc to direct sun- light or heat sources. Do not touch the surface of the disc.

7 F . Connections Figure 3 1 . Powering Y our DVD Player ( Refer to Figure 3) Connect the black wire (-) to the vehicle ground. Connect the red wire (+) to a switched (Accessory) 12VDC source. Plug the other end into the 12VDC input jack on the back of the unit.
8 Figure 4 The A VD300T can be connected to Audiovox Overhead monitors with the supplied adaptors (DVRCA and 4 pin to 2 pin power adapter) when using the Audiovox accessory cable (part number 8010730). Plug in the 3 RCA jacks, white (left audio) to white, red (right audio) to red, and yellow (video) to yellow .
9 b. Connect any of the two monitor ports on the back of the DVD player directly to the Movies 2 Go headrest hoods Model MMH56 B/T/G . Power , audio, video and IR signals are supplied through the DIN cable. c. Using the supplied adapter (Part Number DVRCA) the monitor port can be connected to any monitor .

11 2. MENU A DVD is divided into sections called titles and chapters. When you play a DVD, a root menu of the disc will appear on the screen of your TV or Monitor . Contents of the menu will vary depending on the disc content. Press MENU during playback to display the root menu.
12 c. Press ‘DISPLA Y’ a 3rd time to display the Elapsed T ime for the chapter . The heading will disappear automatically in 3 seconds. d. Press ‘DISPLA Y’ a 4th time to display the Remaining T ime for the chapter . The heading will disappear automatically in 3 seconds.
13 3). SUBTITLE During disc playback press ‘SUBTITLE’ to select the desired sub- title language* current Subtitle Language N umber (1) and the total Number of Subtitle Languages (2) will be displayed. If there are multiple languages press ‘SUBTITLE’ again to select another sub- title language.
14 4). AUDIO During playback press ‘AUDIO’ to select the desired audio lan- guage * current Audio Channel Number (1) and the total number of Audio Channels (2) will be displayed. Press AUDIO again to select another audio language. The audio display will disappear automatically if the ‘AUDIO’ button is not pressed within for 3 seconds.
15 6). A-B REPEA T a. During playback press ‘A-B’ to set the Starting Point A. A-B Repeat S tarting Point Screen Display b. Press ‘A-B’ a second time to set the Ending Point B and the player will repeatedly play the part between Point A and Point B.
16 7). REPEA T a. During playback press ‘REPEA T’ once to repeatedly play the cur- rent chapter . Chapter Repeat ON Screen Display b. During playback press ‘REPEA T’ again to repeatedly play the current title. Title Repeat ON Screen Display c.
17 d. Press “REPEA T” a 4th time, to resume normal play . Repeat Off Screen Display 4. PLA YING AUDIO CDS When playing an audio CD press the DISPLA Y button on the remote to view time information. The options below show you what information is available using this function.
18 3).Press ‘DISPLA Y’ twice and TOT AL ELAPSED appears along with the current track playing and the total time that the CD has been playing. T OT AL ELAPSED Screen Display 4).Press ‘DISPLA Y’ three times and TO T AL REMAIN appears along with the current track playing and the amount of time remaining on the CD.
19 Insert an MP3 and the DVD player will initialize the disc and the directory (folder) will be shown on the TV screen. MENU Screen Display When an MP3 disc is inserted into the unit, the menu screen appears automatically . Y ou can use the menu screen to change folders and songs.
20 Use the ( NEXT ) button to move to the next song. Press the (PREVIOUS) button to move to the beginning of the song. USING THE REPEA T FEA TURE The default mode for the Repeat feature is OFF .
21 a. Press “display” first time, “WIPE TOP” display on the screen, the picture will refresh from top to bottom. b. Press “display” 2nd time, “WIPE BOTTOM” will display on the screen, the picture will refresh from bottom to top.
22 7) Press “Stop” to browse the JPG file, “SLIDE SHOW” “MENU” will display on the screen. 8) When browsing the picture, press “Stop” and thumbnail size picture will be diplayed. Y ou can select the desired picture by using the UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT/ENTER keys.
23 7. SETUP Press ‘SETUP’ to display the Main screen of the SETUP Menu on the screen. Press ‘SETUP’ again to exit the SETUP Menu and the unit will resume it’s last playback mode. Figure 31. Main SETUP Menu Screen 1) Press “Setup”, the ‘GENERAL SETUP’ will display on screen.
24 b. Select ‘TV T ype’ using UP/DOWN, and then press the RIGHT button to enter the submenu. Choose TV T ype using UP/DOWN and then press ENTER to confirm the setting.
