5 Fr eezing Fresh F ood T o fr eeze the maximum quantity of fresh food speci ed above , tur n the thermostat knob to position [4] 24 hours before a ttempting freezing (Fig .2-4) . F or smaller quantities of fresh food, turn the thermostat knob to position [4] appro ximately 6 hours before attempting freezing .

F o od St orage T ips T ips on Freezing F ood • As with storing fresh f oods, suitable pack aging , correct temperatur e and food h ygiene will enhance the quality of the food you ar e freezing. • Av oid putting hot foods into the freezer . F irst let them cool until they reach r oom temperature.

Choosing the Right Location The appliance should be installed in a location wher e the ambient temperatur e corresponds with the climate classication as stated on the rating pla te.
8 Cover c aps Cabinet hinge screws Procedure 1. Loosen the cabinet hinge screws and car efully slide the door o (Fig .4-2) . T o stop the door from being damaged, place it on a cushioned surface. 2. Lever o the cov er caps on the lef t-hand side of the appliance cabinet (F ig.
9 90 - 140 mm 600 Adjusting the F eet Make sure that the appliance is on solid level ooring . I f the refrigerator is plac ed on a plinth, at, strong and re resistant materials must be used. This fridge has front adjustable f eet, which can be used to level the appliance .
10 Fitting the F urniture Door If you need the door to open fr om the other side, then reverse the door before tting the furnitur e door (see ‘Reversing the door ’ ). T ools required: • T ape measure • Sharp pencil • Small flat bladed screwdriv er • Spanner Procedure 1.
11 Securing the appliance in position 1. Open the appliance door . 2. Using a suitably sized drill bit, drill through the three holes in the bracket into the w orktop (Fig .4-12) . IMPORT ANT : Use a drill bit suitable f or the worktop material. 3. Using the screws supplied, x the bracket t o the underside of the worktop .
12 Elec trical Supply C onnec tion Y our refriger ator is intended as a permanent installation. Connect the appliance to the electrical supply (220–240 V ~ 50 Hz) with the plug and lead, which are tted. Connections to the mains supply should be in accor dance with local regulations .
13 5. Cleaning and Maintenanc e Cleaning Disconnect the appliance from the pow er supply before cleaning . T o maintain a high performance level , occasionally clean the condenser coils at the back of the appliance . Defrost the appliance regularly .
