For the best resul ts, the location shou ld meet t he fo llowing conditions. • All wires shou ld reach their con- nection s wi thout go ing near m ov- ing or hot engine parts.

An ale r t sounds immediately i f the current sensor d etects a n electrical drain such as occurs when a dom e or trunk light turns on.

The def ault is for the valet mode to be on (pas sive arm- ing is off).

The system uses a 5-amp 1 1 / 4 × 1 / 4 -inch fast-acting fuse (Cat. No. 270-1011). 1. Push together the two halves of the inline fuse hol der (on the red power wire) and twist them to separate t he halves.
