If you hear the error tones, retur n the k eypad to the base for about 5 sec- onds to res et the secur ity acc ess- protection co de.
9 ADJUSTING THE HEADSET 1. Place the h eadset on your head with the ear piece ov er either ear . 2. Adjust the headset band until it rests with almos t no pres sure on your ear and the top of your head. If the he adset is loose, adjust it inward slig htly to ti ghten it.
10 SETTING THE K EYPAD’ S RING ER V OLU ME You can adjust th e key pad’s r inger v ol- ume by re peatedly p ressin g RINGER AD- JUST when the pho ne is no t in us e. The keyp ad rings with the current v olume (high, m edium, or low) as yo u selec t it.
11 OPERATION MAKING AND RECEIVING CALLS Before y ou use the pho ne, put the head- set on and adjus t it as needed. To make a call, l ift the keypad of f the base, then pr ess TA L K . Y ou hear the dial tone and th e IN USE indi cator lights. Di al the number you want to cal l.
12 USI NG RE DIAL To quickl y redial the l ast number dialed, press TA L K then REDIAL . Notes: • The redia l memo r y ho lds up to 32 digits, so you can redial long- di st ance as w ell as loca l num bers .
