4 Preparation ˆ Prepar ation CONNECTING TO AC POWER Plug the clock radio’s power cord into a standard AC outle t. As soon as y ou connec t AC power, the displ ay turns on an d BAT- TERY SENTINEL on t he front of the clock radio light s. Caution: The cl ock radio ’s AC pow er cord is equipped with a polariz ed plug to prevent el ectric shock.
