Quatech SDS User’s Manual Introduction Using Port numbers In order for devices to communicate via a TCP connection or a UDP datagram, they must know each other’ s IP address and port number. The SDS driver automatically sets the unit’s port number for you.

We recommend Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. Step 2 Type the IP address for t he SDS in the Web browser’s URL (address) field.

Of course, you can always go back and use the Install ation Wizard to program the settings for t he SDS.
