Pic 5 PORT FORWARDI NG To access th e DVR fro m a remote c omputer you need to forward ports 80 and 2000 from th e router the DVR is attached t o, to the IP address o f the DVR. 1. To access the DVR t hroug h Internet Ex plorer: on ce you have se tup the netw ork s ettings o n the DVR to match the set tings of your route r and f orwar ded the ports needed by the DVR (for remote acces s over the i nterne t), you need to mo dify yo ur brow ser co ntrols .
