It is very important for you to read and understand them completely. Read and follow the information in the owner’s manual .

8 www.pridem obility.com Outlander Series LIFTING CAPABILITIES The lift system is an elect romechanical device designed to lift various types of mobility devices for the purpose of vehicle transport. The Outla nder is designed for use wi th Class II, Class III, or Class IV hitches.
9 Outlander Series www.pridemobility.com II. SAFETY HITCH CLASS INFORMATION Hitches come in a variety of sizes and are desig- nated by class. The classes range from Class I to Class IV. A heavier load requires a larger class, which has a higher tongue weight .

INSTALLATION LIFT SYSTEM INSTALLATION The Outlander is designed to be easily installed into any vehicle equipped with a Class II, Class III or Class IV hitch receiver. The hitch receiv er should be installed no higher th an 21 in.
11 Outlander Series www.pridemobility.com TENSION BOLT CLEVIS PIN III. INSTALLATION Follow these steps to install the lift system: 1. Remove the preassembled mounting hardware from the hitch tube. 2. Mount the hitch tube to the lift frame using the previ- ously removed mounting hardware.

Route the wiring harness through th e vehicle rather than under the vehicle to avoid coming in contact with sharp edges , extreme temperatures, moving parts, and roadway debris including road salt and other highly corrosive materials.
13 Outlander Series www.pridemobility.com III. INSTALLATION License Plate Holder The license plate holder shoul d be rotated to the upright position during installation. See figure 9. 1. Pull the pivot weldment out to disengage keyway. Y ou may need to loosen th e pivot nut with a 3/4- in.
14 www.pridem obility.com Outlander Series III. INSTALLATION Wheel Chock Installation Your lift is supplied with f our adjustable wheel chocks, that when installed, aid in centering your mobility device during loading. Follow these steps to install the wheel chocks: 1.
15 Outlander Series www.pridemobility.com Follow these steps to operate the lift system: 1. Insert the key into the key switch. 2. Turn and hold the key cl ockwise to lower the lift platform. See figure 13. Release the key as soon as the lift platform touches the ground.

17 Outlander Series www.pridemobility.com Follow these steps to remove a mobility device from the lift system: 1. Lower the lift platform to the ground. 2. Unfasten the tie-down stra ps or allow the lock-down arm to automatically return to the vertical position.
18 www.pridem obility.com Outlander Series PROHIBITED! Removal of the grounding prong can create an electrical hazard. If neces- sary, properly install an approved 3-pronged adapt or to an electrical outlet having 2- pronged plug access.

21 Outlander Series www.pridemobility.com VI. CARE AND MAINTENANCE General Cleaning Guidelines The lift system can be ha nd washed along with the vehi cle with soap and water. However, automatic drive- through car washes should be avoided as they may interfere with and caus e damage to the lift.

Desserrez et dégagez le s courroies d’ancrage. Actionnez en mouvement de rochet le levier de réglage seulement sur chaque courroie pour enrouler la courroie sur elle-même.
