Keep in mind that the maximum weight capacity includes the combine d wei ght of the user and any accessories mounted to the power chair.

Even though your power chair may be capable of han dling greater obstacles, Pride recommends that you do not attempt to negotiate a curb that has a height greater th an 2 in. (5 cm). Doing so could cause instability in your power chair.

This includes awareness of safety issues when taking prescribed or ove r-the-counter drugs or when the user has specific physical limitations.

Quantum 614 Series www.pridemobility .com 21 Manual Freewheel Levers For your convenience, your power chai r is equipped with two manual freewh eel levers mounted on the motors. These levers allow you to disengage the drive motors and maneuver the chair manually.

26 www.pr idemob ility .com Quantum 614 Series Seatback Angle Adjustment If your power chair is equippe d with an adjustable seat- back, you can adjust it to fo ur (4) different angles: 90°, 102°, 105°, or 107°. To adjust the seatback angle: 1. Remove the adjusting scre ws from each seat hinge.

Like any mo torized vehicle, it requi res routine maintenance checks. You can perform some of these checks, but others require assistance from yo ur Quantum Rehab Provider.

The body shroud has been sprayed with a clear sealant co ating. You can apply a light coat of car wax to help it retain its high-gloss appearance.
