2 Premio System Manual Setting Up To set up your Premio s ystem , sim ply conn ect your m onitor, the m ouse, the key board, and any additional components y ou w ant to use to the system unit. Follow these easy steps: 1 Attach y our monitor’s v ideo cable to the video con nector.

4 Premio System Manual The reset button restarts the system. The hard drive indicator lights wh en the hard drive is in us e. The power indicator lights when the system is on. The power switch turns the system on and off. The CD-ROM drive reads information on CDs.

6 Premio System Manual Opening the Sy stem Unit Note: Opening the system unit could affect your warranty. Check with the dealer where you purchased your system before opening the system unit. To o pen the sy stem unit, f ollow these steps: 1 Turn off the sys tem an d unplug the power c ord .
Upgrading 7 Installing an Expansion Card To install an expans ion card, open the sy stem unit as des cribed on the previous pag e. Then follow these steps: 1 Remove the scr ew securing the slot bracket cover for th e expansion slot you want to use . Save the screw to secure the expansion card.
8 Premio System Manual Installing a Hard Driv e To install a hard dr ive in y our system , follow these steps: 1 Disconnect th e hard drive cable and pow er conn ector. 2 Rem ove the tw o screws securing th e drive bay. 3 Slide the bay tow ard the rear of the sy stem unit to rem ove it.

During ON stage, push once and the system goes to sleep mode: pushing it more than 4 seconds will change its status from ON to OFF .

This connector is for optional wireless transmitting and receiving infrared module. Y ou must configure the setting through the BIOS setup to use the IR function.

Supervisor Password allows you to change all CMOS settings but the User Password setting doesn’t have this function.

This type of information is stored in battery-backed RAM (CMOS RAM), so that it retains the Setup information when the power is turned off.
