INST ALLA TION 1. Read this manual carefully and in its entirety bef ore installing the DCX-730. 2. Alwa ys disconnect the batter y or remov e the fuses f or circuits you will be working on. 3. Chec k f or clearance of an y hazards such as wiring har nesses or heater core bef ore mounting the equaliz er to any panels in the v ehicle.
2. Arro ws . Use the arrow b uttons to na vigate through the menus and to adjust a menu setting. 3. LCD Displa y . Backlit displa y , soft-blue bac kground f or easy viewing at night. 4. Presets. Fiv e preset buttons to allow y ou to select from 5 settings that you ha v e entered.
Input Connections 1. Connects to the displa y controller cab le. This cab le supplies pow er to the controller module and transmits control and displa y signals between the displa y and processor module . 2. SUB right and left input, RCA phono connections.

Storing Presets While in any of the par ameter menus , y ou can sav e any changes to settings b y pressing the desired number b utton that y ou wish these settings to be sa v ed to . The parameters which ha v e changed will replace the def ault parameters in the preset.
Dela y The dela y parameter allo ws y ou to adjust the dela y of individual channels b y up to 70 msec. F or e xample , this allows adjusting the driv er’ s side speakers audio to coincide with the arrival of the passenger side speak er at a listening point in the v ehicle.
