12 The gr een colored r igid ear, l ug, or tab, ex tending fr o m the adapt er, m ust be connected to a perm anent ground such a s a properl y grounded outl et box , as shown in Fi gure 7. Make sure t he v oltage of y our power supply m a tches the speci fi cations on the m o tor pl a te of the m achi ne.

14 Operatin g Controls The c ontrol s witc h (Fi gure 14) t urns the m otor on, and al so determ ines i ts directi on – for w ard or re v ers e. If a ja m should occ ur wh ile feed ing a w orkpiece, DO NOT t urn the st ock feed er to reverse w hil e the au xiliary mach ine is sti ll running in forw ard direction .
15 6. When used i n norm al hori zontal posi ti on, the stoc k f eeder should be adj us ted f or height so that t he d istanc e between the tabl e and the f eed roll ers is approxim at e l y 1/8” t o 3/16” (3 to 5mm) l ess than t he thi ckness of the workpi ece.
16 When Used with a Table Saw 1. Posit ion t he Stock Feeder so that the axi s of the saw bl ade li nes up between t he center rol ler and i nfeed r o ll er. See Fi gure 18. This w ill a l low th e Sto ck F eeder to grip t he o ffc ut of t he w orkpi ece as it leav es t he blade.
17 The m ating par ts of the arm c one and sw i v el cone shoul d be kept c lean. See Fi gure 21. W hen disassembli ng any of the c ones f rom t he stock f eeder, wipe of f both m a ting part s w i th a cl ean rag be f ore re-ass em bli ng.
18 Chains Lubri cate t he dri v e chai ns (Fi gure 24) wit h good quali ty all -purpose grease ev er y 3 m onths, or m ore frequent ly if needed. Lead Scr ews Oc casionally apply a light coat of grease to the lead scr ew of t he v ertic al colum n, and to t he lead scr ew of t he horizont a l arm.
