2 I. GENERAL OPERA TION • Read, understand, and follo w all instructions in the manual and on the machine bef ore star ting. • Only allow responsib le adults, who are f amiliar with the instructions, to operate the machine. • Clear the area of objects such as rocks, to ys , wire, etc.

4 CA UTION: BEFORE ASSEMBLING GRASS CA TCHER TO TRA CT OR: • Depress c lutch/brake pedal fully and set parking brake. • Place gearshift/motion contr ol lever in "NEUTRAL" position. • Place attachment c lutch in "DISENGA GED" position.

6 CONT AINER ASSEMBL Y (See Fig. 3) 1. Place bottom half inside of top half, as shown. 2. Place one foot inside bottom half and lift top half to meet bottom half .
7 02552 LO WER CHUTE (See Fig. 5) 1. Raise and hold defl ector shield in upright position. 2. Place slot in lower chute o ver tab on mo wer dec k and position lower chute o v er deck opening as sho wn. 3. Hook rear latch into fl ange hole on back of mow er deck.
8 TIPS FOR IMPR O VED BA GGING OPE RA TION: F ollow the mo wer operation instructions in your tr actor owner's man ual. When operating y our grass catcher on a la wn where grass and leaf bagging equipment has not been used, you are picking up thatch and debris that has accumulated f or long periods of time.
9 ST ORA GE When grass catcher is to be stored f or a period of time, clean it thoroughly , remov e all dir t, grass, lea ves , etc. Store in a clean, dr y place. CA UTION: Do not lea ve grass in bagger containers. Empty containers after each use and before storing.
