8 V ARIABLE SPEED CONTROL The Model 121 Oscillating Sander is equipped with a variable speed control dial (B) Fig. 4. The variable speed control can be set on 1-6. The speed ranges from 2400-3600 RPM, setting 1 is the slowest at 2400 RPM, and setting 6 is the fastest at 3600 RPM.
9 NOTE: Check guide adjustment after changing sanding drums. EDGE GUIDE OPERA TION When using the edge guide always start sanding from an edge, so that even sanding will be produced. Start with the front feed guide against the material to be sanded and gradually feed the tool into the surface to be sanded.
10 SER VICE AND REP AIRS All quality tools will eventually require servicing or replacement of parts due to wear from normal use.
