Changing the resolution affects the number of images that can be stored in your memory card. The higher the resolution, the more memory space is required.

In difficult lighting condition, the auto exposure function of your camera may be misled into giving the wrong readings. The EV Compensation function allows you to adjust the exposure value and correctly expose your images.
