- 13 - P l a y b a c k P r e p a r a t i o n s Usage of Switching Power Adapter The player is supplied with a switching power adapter . 1. Connect AC adaptor to t he side of the DV D player in the slot marked “Power In”. 2. Connect the rabbit joi nt end of the AC adaptor to the power cord.
Using and Charging the B attery Pack Charge the Battery Pack before using it the fi rst time. Charging time is normally about 4 hours. Do not charge the Batt ery Pack more than 8 hours as it could r educe service life. Normally, the B attery Pack can be charged a pproximately 300 times.
Detaching Battery Pack from the unit: If the player is not going to be used for a long period of ti me, we recommend th at you detach the Battery Pack. Even if the unit is powered down, the unit is still consuming some power in ST ANDBY mode. This could le ad to over discharging the battery .
