If you have entered your PIN code incorrectly 3 times, your SIM card will be blocked and you will be una ble to make and receive calls/tex t. The PUK code is required to change a blocked PIN, and the PUK2 code is required to change a blocked PIN2 code.

Chapter 17 1 1. Getting st arted 1.1 Inst alling the SIM Card and the Battery Keep all miniature SIM cards out of the reach of small chi ldren. The SIM card and its contact s can easil y be damaged by scratches o r bending, so be careful when handling, inserting or re moving the card.

Chapter 53 5 5. Messages Message is the first option of the Menu. Th ere are five sub-menus under the Message menu: SMS , MMS ( Multimedia messa ge ), Email , Voice Mail, and Call Broadcast . Y ou can read, write, send and save te xt, multimedia, SMS (short message service) and e-mail messa ges.

56 Chapter 5 5.2 Multimedia Message Service A multimedia message can contain text, sound and a picture or a video clip. The phone su pports multimedia messages th at are up to 100 kB in size. If the maximum size is exceeded, the phone may not be able to receive the message.
Chapter 57 5 5.2.1 Inbox There are “ Read ” and “ Unread ” MMS in the “ Inbox ”. The unread MMSs have higher priority than read MMSs. The ordering sequen ce of unread MMS is that the latter have higher priority . Once an unread MMS is retrieved, it will be put as the first one in read MMS.

Chapter 67 6 6. Call History The phone registers the phone numbers of misse d, received and dialed calls, and the approximate length of your calls. The phone registers missed and received ca lls only if the network supports these functions, and the pho ne is switc hed on and with in the network’s service area.
68 Chapter 6 6.4 Delete all call Press OK key ( Menu ), select Call History and select Call Timer to the missed calls, received calls, dialed calls, or de lete all calls. 6.5 Call timers Press OK key ( Menu ), select Call History and select Call Timer to check the time of last call, all incoming calls an d all outgoing calls take.

The phone’s memory may save up to 500 names with numbers and text n otes about each name. Y ou can also save an ima ge (photos or downloaded image) for all the contacts.

Chapter 73 8 8. WLAN The Dual mode phone has been pre-config ured to work with any open wireless network. The phone will obtain an IP ad dress automatically once it recognizes and connects to the WLAN network.

Chapter 103 13 Weekend : the power i s turned on or off only during we ekend at the scheduled time. Given day : the power is turned on or off once and it is then disabled.
