9 <DRC1101> En English CONNECTION 7 Setting the SCSI ID The SCSI ID is set using the switch on the device’s rear panel. The computer will recognize each connected SCSI device by its SCSI ID. Generally, the SCSI IDs are set as follows: “0” for a hard disk, “3” for a CD-ROM and “7” for a SCSI interface board (card).
10 <DRC1101> En The DVD-R writing system consists of a personal computer (PC) and the DVD-R Drive. In order to operate the DVD-R Drive, the accompanying application software and disc driver must be installed on the computer.
11 <DRC1101> En English Emergency Disc Removal In the following cases, discs can be ejected using the emergency ejection hole. ÷ Trouble with the device makes it impossible to remove the disc using the OPEN/CLOSE button or a software command. ÷ A disc that you need to eject remains inside the device but the power is off.
