CAUTION: T o prevent damage and/or injury • Do not ground the speaker wire directly or con- nect a negati ve (–) lead wire for se veral speakers. • This unit is for vehicles with a 12-v olt battery and negati ve grounding. Before installing it in a recre- ational vehicle, truck or b us, check the battery voltage.
Connecting the Speaker T erminals 1. Expose the end of the speaker wir es using nippers or a cutter by about 10 mm (3/8 in.) and twist. 2. Attach lugs to speaker wir e ends. Lugs not supplied. • Use pliers, etc., to crimp lugs to wires. 3. Connect the speaker wir es to the speaker terminals.
