8-9 8 9 This is only a brief description of these buttons. Detailed uses of the buttons are dif ferent in particular functions and will be described later in the instructions. Pressing [MODE] but ton will toggle among the modes above. Note that there is no auto-return function in the stopwatc h.
12-13 12 13 date-month (d-m), Sound ON or OFF , Contrast (darkness of the digits - default is 9), then bac k to Second, and recycles ag ain. Note: when the second is to be set, press [ST ART • SPLIT] to reset the second digits to zero.
16-17 16 17 Chr onograph and Recall Mode Press [MODE] until you enter the Chrono mode. The stopwatc h can measure up to 1 9 hours, 59 minutes, 59.99 seconds.
20-21 20 21 When there are 5 free memories left, the icon “FULL ” will blink to remind you of the nearly full situation. Whenever the stor age is full, extra split/lap times will not be stor ed int o memory but will still be shown on the displa y .
24-25 24 25 Please note that if the stopwatc h is running, no selection for c hronograph operating modes can be made until the stopwatc h has been stopped and reset.
28-29 28 29 [RECALL] [RECALL] [RECALL] [RECALL] [RECALL] After recalling the fi r st record, press [RECALL] once more to exit from Recall mode and go bac k to c hronograph mode. The “RECALL ” icon will turn OFF . Note: watc h is still running so run time continues to advance.
32-33 32 33 The header consisting of the date/time stamp will be shown. The number of laps in the segment will appear in the upper left while the segment num- ber is displayed in the middle left. If the segment shown is not your desired segment, press [ST ART • SPLIT] to reac h the desired segment.
36-37 36 37 Note: Y ou cannot delete all segments while the stopwatc h is running. If nothing happens when you push and hold [ST OP • RESET] c hec k to make sure the stopwatc h is stopped.
40-41 40 41 How t o set the timer Press and hold [RECALL] (S1) for 2 seconds to activate timer setting. Timer setting star ts with second digits, whic h are shown blinking. Y ou can press [ST ART • SPLIT] (S3) to advance the fl ashing digits. Or you can press [S T OP • RESET] (S2) to select other digits.
44-45 44 45 Str ok e/Str ide Measurement Press [MODE] until you enter the Stroke Measure- ment mode. The display will be as follows. In the Stroke or Strides Measurement mode, the duration of 3 strokes is tak en and the stroke frequency (counts per minute) is calculated.
48-49 48 49 Press [S T ART • SPLIT] (S3) to toggle between KM and MILE. T o select the following digits, press [ST OP • RESET] (S2). The far right digit will blink and you can set the distance from the least signifi cant digit to the most signifi cant digit.
52-53 52 53 both the speed and elapsed time can be retrieved. Lap Time & Speed Recall Similar to the Chrono Recall mode, during speed measurement or Stop state, you can press [RECALL] to recall the speed/lap memories. The Mode message will be shown for one to two seconds as the Mode message display is displayed.
