Th is al lows customers to see themselves on the moni tor . This featur e makes the PVM ideal for commercial est ablishments because it creates interest, whil e discouraging theft.
C2943M-B (1/09) 7 Installation MOUNTING The PVM accommo dates mounts that adhe re to the VESA ® 100 x 100 standard. For mounting from a ce iling, Pelco recommends using the PMCL-CM mo unt. This mount can be s wiveled 360 degrees, and lets you til t the monitor 35 degrees fo r the best viewing angle.

14 C2943M-B (1/09) MENU FIELD DEFINITIONS PICTURE Brightness: Adjusts the white level of the vide o screen imag e (0 to 100) . Contrast: Adjusts the black level of the video screen imag e (0 to 100). Sharpness: Adjusts the picture softer or sharper (0 to 15).
C2943M-B (1/09) 15 PVM SETUP Auto Power ON: Select the video inp ut to be ac tivated when power is res tored afte r an electr ical failure . Select OFF , VIDEO 1, VIDEO 2, CAMERA, or MEDIA. Light Sensor Mode: Automatically turns on or off the moni tor based on the light intensity .

18 C2943M-B (1/09) Slide Show Option Field Definitions TIME: Sets the lengt h of time a s elected pict ure displays on the screen in slide show mode: 1, 3, 5, or 10 seconds. The defa ult setti ng is 5 seconds. EFFECT : Sets the display eff ect while changi ng to the next picture in slide show mode.

Use the left and righ t arrow buttons ( " and ! ) on the media port ion of the remote cont rol (refe r to Figure 10 on page 16) to hi ghlight the MOVIE option, and then press ENTER.
