8 HIGH GAIN INPUT Used for most electric guitars. The High Gain Input is 6 dB louder than the Lo w Gain Input (2). L OW GAIN INPUT Pro vided for instruments with extremely high outputs, which can result in o verdriving (distorting) the High Gain Input (1).
9 F ront Panel CL ASSIC/MODERN/HIGH GAIN - SWITCH This switch changes both the gain and voicing of the L ead channel. The MODERN setting increases the ov erall gain and notches (cuts) the mid frequencies, establishing a modern tone often associated with Hard Rock and Metal styles.
10 AC POWER INL ET (Pow er Cord Located Under Chassis) This is the receptacle for an IEC line cord, which pro vides AC power tot the unit. Connect the line cor d to this connector to pro vide power to the unit. Damage to the equipment may result if impr oper line volt- age is used.
11 R ear P anel POWER LEVEL (Bandit 112 ON L Y) This switch pro vides three power lev el options: 25%, 50% and 100%. This cir cuit is actually a patented tube power amplier simulator that "squashes" the signal. Use as desir ed for different playing environ- ments, for example an apartment at 25% or live big at 100%.
