7 Inser ti ng a Card 1 Slide the C ard Slo t Cover 1 , and flip it to open. ≥ T urn off the SD M ulti A V Device bef ore inser ting a Card. 2 Hold the M emory Card placing the c ut off corner 2 at the left and s howin g the label 3 frontwar d, and then insert it fully u ntil it c licks .

Music files must be written on t he SD Memor y Card using a USB Reade r/Writer for SD Memor y Card (supplied accessor y) and the P anasonic Media Manager (supplied accessor y) s pecial software pr ogram in order for the SD Multi A V Device to pla y music.

28 Installi ng SD-Mov ieStage 1 Insert the sup plied CD-R OM into the p erso nal comp ute r ’ s CD-ROM drive. 2 Double-c lick [My Co mputer], doub le-c lick CD-ROM icon, double-c lick [S D-Movie Stage V e r .1.0U], and doub le-clic k [SETUP .EXE]. 3 Click the [Next ] Button.

31 ª Using a Card in a P ersonal Computer ≥ T o erase pictures th at you recorded on the C ard by using the SD Multi A V Device, be sure to erase them on the SD Multi A V Device, not on the comput er .
32 Indications 1) Re m ainin g Ba tt er y Power [ ] When the batter y power becomes low , the indication changes. When the batter y le vel indicator indicates [ ], the battery will run out in a few min utes. Recharge the battery . [ ] may be display ed when the AC Adaptor is used.
33 9) Displayed b y the text [LOW B A TTERY]: The batter y may be exhausted. Replace it with a fully charged batter y or recharge the supplied battery . [NO CARD]: The Memor y Card is not inser ted, or the Card may not be inser ted c orrectly . [CARD FULL]: The memo ry capacity is f ully utilized.

35 ª Notes on th e SD Memo ry Card Write- Protect Switch ≥ The SD Me mory Card has a wr ite-protect switch. Sliding the switch to [LOCK] prevents the recording of data to the card as well as the deletion of data from the c ard. Sliding back the s witch perm its such operations.
36 Bef ore Requesting Ser vice Pow e r 1: The SD Multi A V Device po wer cannot be turned on. 1: Is the power s ource connec ted correctly? 2: The SD Multi AV Device power shuts off automatica lly. 2: If you do not use the SD Multi AV Device for m ore than 10 minutes, the power shuts off automatically to save the B attery power.
