18 2. Basic Operation Using the touch screen The unit features a touch screen, which you can operate by touc hing directly with your fingers. ≥ Peel off the sheet p asted to the touch screen when first bought b efore use. ≥ The touch scree n is designed to be lightly touched with a finge r.

Basic Operation 20 Switching between ver tical and h orizontal viewing modes The unit switches the screen bet ween vertical and horizontal vi ewing modes depending on its motion sensor that can detect the unit’s direction and move ment . ≥ The screen display may not switch depending on the app b eing us ed and othe r reasons.

32 3. Connecting t o networks Connecting to mobile networks 2G/3G/L TE networks can be used to acc ess email, messages and th e internet. For most mobile network operat ors, the connection is configured automatically when a microSIM card is inse rted.
