RQT8572 5 Location The front, center , and surround speakers should be placed at ap- proximately the same distance from the listening position. The angles in the diagram are approximate. Front speakers ( left, right: SB-FS100 ) • Put the front speakers on either side of the television.
RQT8572 6 • Do not apply an unreasonable force to the net at the front of the speaker unit. Y ou cannot remove the front net. • Y ou can carry out assembly work stably by placing the cushions in the packing case beneath the speaker . Place the speaker with the net side face downward.

RQT8572 10 Assembly and Installation Setup the center speaker (SB-PC100) • Do not apply an unreasonable force to the net at the front of the speaker unit. Y ou cannot remove the front net. • Lay the speakers on a flat surface over a soft cloth when working on them.
RQT8572 11 Connections Connect to a receiver or amplifier with 6- Ω impedance for the front, center , and surround speakers, and a pin-type output terminal for an active subwoofer . Y ou cannot connect these speakers to any equip- ment other than this amplifier .
RQT8572 12 Subwoofer operation (SB-W A101) The active subwoofer reproduces very low frequency sound monau- rally , making use of the fact that the human ear does not sense direc- tion in the low frequency region. Y ou can emphasize low frequencies by combining the active subwoofer with the speaker system.
RQT8572 13 Notes Speaker impedance and allowed input SB-FS100 / SB-PC100 Impedance 6 Ω Input power 100 W (RA TED) The only receivers or amplifiers you should connect to these speak- ers are those whose rated output does not exceed the above figures.
