1 A: SETUP PROCEDU RE The Zydacron On W AN Z340 i s a P C card based CODEC sp ecif ically d esig ned for IP (H.323) networks only. The plug in c ard requires a s pare PCI slot in the us ers PC. Connectivity for the camera , audio, auxiliary video output and an op tional audio headset are provided by a Br eakout cabl e .
2 B: HARDWARE DESCRIPTION General The Zydacron OnWAN Z340 is a PC c ard based CODEC intended for a spare PCI slot. The complete system includes a ca mera with integ ral microphone, an audiovisual breakout cable and the OnWAN operating software. The PC po wered loudspeakers together wi th the camera microphone prov ide hands free sound.
3 Mobility As the Zy da cron OnWAN Z340 CODEC is a card within a desktop PC s ystem i t cannot be moved easily . To enable op eration, each new connection at e ach new location will r equire the l ocal IP address of the ho s t PC to be updated.
