9 Connecting and Set ting Up Preset Download Function The Preset Download function automatically copies the tuning position of all available TV stations into the VCR ’ s memory when you connect the VCR using a fully-wired 21-pin Scart cable to a TV equipped with the Q Link function.

11 Connecting and Set ting Up If you are connecting your VCR to a TV using Method 1, follow the operations explained below. Auto Setup Function The Auto Setup function automatically tunes all available TV stations and sets the VCR ’ s clock to the current date and time.

To be able to watch the VCR picture on the TV, RF connection requires the video playback channel to be set on the TV. 0 1 Switch the TV on. 0 2 Select an unoccupied programme position (which is not tuned to a TV station).

36 Adjusting the Playback Picture Under normal conditions, the VCR automatically adjusts the playback picture for optimum quality. However, in some cases it may be necessary to adjust it manually.
