3 L The AC adaptor must remain connecte d at all times. (It is normal for the adaptor to feel warm during use.) L Make sure that the wall is strong enough to supp ort the weight of the unit. Battery inst allation/Battery charge Important: L Use the supplied rechargeable bat teries.
4 Registering a hand set to the base unit 1 Base unit: N KX-TGP500 Press and hold { ALL } for about 4 seconds until the ST A TUS indicator flashes in red. N KX-TGP550/KX-TGP551 Press and hold { ALL } for about 4 seconds until the registration tone sounds and the ST A TUS indicator flashes in red.
