E NGLISH - 20 Basic Operation Switching the projector on/off J Connecting 1. Make sur e the shape of the power plug and the AC IN connector on the back of the projector match, then push the plug all the way in. 2. Connect the Power cord to a wall outlet.

This is not necessary in Remote control operation. 3. Press the POWER button. The power indica tor lights up in GREEN after flashing for a while.
E NGLISH - 22 Basic Operation Projecting an image 1. Switch on the connected devices. Press the play button of the required device. 2. Press the INPUT SELECT buttons to select the required input method if needed. Se e “Switching the input signal” on p age 24.
E NGLISH - 23 Basic Operation Remote control operation You can operate the pr ojector with the Remote control within the re mote rang e 15 m ( 49'2"). Q Facing to the projector Ensure the Remote control emitter is facing to the Remote control si gnal receptor on front/ba ck of the projector an d press the required button s to operate.
Basic Operation Remote control operation E NGLISH - 24 You can switch the input method manually by pressing the COMPUTER , NETWORK and VIDEO buttons. Press the r equired butt on several times or I H to cycle through the input methods as follows. The actual projected image will be changed in a while.
Basic Operation Remote control operation E NGLISH - 25 When projectin g an image, press FREEZE to capture the projected imag e and display it on the screen as a still pict ure. While the image is frozen, the sound will be stopped. Press the FREEZE button to return to the projection.
Basic Operation Remote control operation E NGLISH - 26 You can project the image and anoth er source of image at the same time in do uble window style. Press any bu tton of RETURN , MENU , DOUBLE-WINDOW or INPUT SELECT buttons to return to the normal projection style.
E NGLISH - 27 Settings Menu Navigation The menu system allows you to acce ss functions wh ich do not have their own dedicated buttons on the Remote control . The menu options are str uctured and categorized . You can navigate through the menu with F G H I buttons.

E NGLISH - 30 Settings PICTURE menu Depending on the projection environment, you can use these pres et parame ter setting s to optimi ze image projection. Press I H to cycle through the op tions. You can adjust the contrast of the projected image. Adjust the BRIGHTNESS in advance if necessary.

E NGLISH - 32 Settings POSITION menu If the projector is aligned non- perpendicularly to the screen, or if the projection screen has an angled surface, you can correct keystone. You can move the projected imag e for fine adjustment. Press I H to move h orizontally and F G vertically.
POSITION menu E NGLISH - 33 Settings Q H-FIT The 4:3/5:4 image will be stretched to the horizontal limit of the SCREEN FORMAT setting size with preserving original ratio and the vertica l edge will be cropped.
E NGLISH - 34 Settings OPTION menu When you change the input method, th e guidance appears in the upper right co rner of the screen. The following display methods are availa ble. Press I H to cycle through the options. You can switch th e logo on/off that is displayed when starting up the projecto r.
OPTION menu E NGLISH - 35 Settings You can check how long the lamp has been u sed. You can set the off time r to switch off the POWER of the projector after a certain period of time a utomatically when no signal is detected. Press I H to select the required period from 15 to 60 m inutes at intervals of 5 minutes.
Settings OPTION menu E NGLISH - 36 If you use the proje ctor at high eleva tion, the HIGHLAND setting need to be ON to set the fan speed high. Press I H to select the required option. OFF The fan speed is low . ON The fan speed is high. If the input signal contains closed captions, you ca n turn on the feature and switch the channels.
E NGLISH - 37 Settings SECURITY menu J Entering the SECURITY menu Every time w hen you apply to the SECURITY menu, you will be asked to perfor m the passwor d operation. When you apply to the SECURITY menu before you change the password to your ori ginal, perform to input the following factory default pa ssword operation.

E NGLISH - 39 Maintenance TEMP, LAMP and FILTER Indicators If a problem should occur with the proje ctor, the TEMP , LAMP and/or FILTER indicators will inform you. Ma nage the indicated problems as follow. 1. Confirm the status o f all indicators and p rojector , and switch off the projector in proper way .

Press the ENTER button for 3 seconds and the confir mation screen will be displayed. 2. Press I to select OK and press the ENTER button to reset FILTER REMAINING to “0”.
