1 Important Information Th ank you for purchasing this Pana sonic digital cellular phon e. This phone is designed to operate on GS M networks – GSM9 00 and GSM1800. It also supports GPRS for packet data connections. Ple ase ensure the battery is fully charged before use.
2 Important Information Care must be taken when using the phone in close pro ximity to personal medical devices, such as pacemakers and hearing aids. For most efficie nt use, hold the phone as you woul d any normal phone.

4 Care and Maintenance Pressing a ny of the keys may produ ce a loud tone. Avoid holding the ph one close to the ear while pressing the ke ys. Extreme tempera tures may have a temporary effe ct on the operation of your phone. This is normal and does not indi cate a fault.

36 Settings Keyguard setting Keyguard stops t he keys from performin g their normal function if accidentally pressed. When Keyguard is enab led, “ ” appears on the display. When a call is received, Keyguard is temporaril y disabled and you can answer the call.

42 Messages MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) Your phone is designed to be compa tible with certain Multimedia Messa ging Services (MMS). You can send pict ures and music with text messages. The recipient can play i t as a slide show. MMS messages can be sent to anot her mobile phone with MMS capability or to an email address.
