10 VQT4M33 STEP 5 : Settings After connecting your n ew player for the f irst time and pressing [ Í ], a screen for the basic settings will appear . Preparation T u rn on the television and select the appropriate video input on the television. 1 Press [ Í ].

14 VQT4M33 Multi User Mode Multi User Mode is a function that enables switching of multiple settings easily . Up to 4 people can use the unit with their own settings.
Playback 15 VQT4M33 Playbac k 1 Insert the med ia. Playback s tart s depending on t he media. 2 Select the item to play and press [OK]. Repeat this procedure if necessary .
16 VQT4M33 Press [POP-UP ME NU/TOP MENU]. ≥ Select the item and press [OK]. While playing, press [ ST A TUS] . The status messages g ive you info rmation about what is currently b eing played. Each time you press [ST A TU S], the display inf ormation may change or will d isappear from the screen.
Playback 17 VQT4M33 Network Ser vice (Enjoying NETFLIX, etc. ) Network Service allows you to acc ess some specific websites s upport ed by Panasonic, and enjoy Internet contents such as photos, v ideos, etc. from Network Serv ice home screen. This unit has no full browser function and al l features of websites may n ot be available.
18 VQT4M33 Home Netwo r k fea tur e Y ou can share photos, videos and music stored in the DLNA Certified media server (PC with Windows 7 installed, smartphone, etc.) connected to your home network, and enjoy the contents with this player . Available options diff er depending on the playing contents and the condition of t he unit. About M ulti U ser Mode : Settings of the items with this indication are saved by the respective users registered in the Home menu.

24 VQT4M33 ¾ Network Drive Con nection It is possible to access the shared folder of equipment not compatible with DLNA, such as the Windows XP operating system, and play back video, s till pictures, and mu sic on t his unit. Setti ngs 25 VQT4M33 ¾ Screen Saver F unction This is to prevent burn-in on the screen. ≥ When this is set to “O n”: If a list of playback content is displayed and there is n o operation for 10 minutes or more, the scree n switches t o HOME menu au tom atica lly .
26 VQT4M33 Reference T roubleshooting gu ide Before requesting s ervice, please perfo rm the following steps. The following do not indicate a problem with this u nit: – Regular disc rotating sounds. – Image disturbance during sear ch. ∫ Unit doesn’ t respond to remote control or fr ont panel buttons.
Reference 27 VQT4M33 This unit does not recognize the USB connection co rrectly . ¾ Disconnect and reconnect the USB cable. If it still does not recognize the connection, t urn the power of this unit of f and on agai n.
28 VQT4M33 Cannot hear the desired audio type. ¾ Check the conne ctions and the “Digital Audio Output” settings. ( > 7, 22) ¾ T o output audio from a device connected wit h an HDMI cab le, set “HDMI Audio Output” to “On” in the Setup menu.
